Tommy Cole Then
Before landing The Mickey Mouse Club, Tommy Cole was a singer in a Western swing band. His entire ensemble auditioned together for The Mickey Mouse Club, and Cole was the only one selected. His singing earned him a transfer to The Mickey Mouse Club’s first-string Red-Team and he remained on the show for the final two seasons. After the show ended, he attended Hollywood Professional School and went on live performance tours with Mouseketeerseteers and continued singing for quite some time at teenage clubs, public events, and as an opening act for other performers.
