As an adult, he continued to appear in various TV, films, and Broadway shows. He appeared on many different shows including Murder She Wrote and the Beverly Hillbillies. He also had a very successful film career acting in over 25 films including Sweet Charity, Hook, Lionheart, Police Academy: Mission to Moscow and numerous others. He also continued to star on Broadway, began directing, and used his many talents to write for many magazines and newspapers such as The Los Angeles Times and The Washington Times. he also wrote multiple books including one about his time as a Mouseketeer.
