Beatlemania was an intense fan frenzy over the rock group the Beatles in the 1960s. The phenomenon started in 1963 and lasted all the way up until the band’s official break-up in 1970. During this time, the Beatles were constantly being swarmed any time they were out in public, with fans bursting into tears over catching a glimpse of them in real life.
